"I had several people tell me they came to my studio after listening to my recording. When I am showing my art in person, I always feel that people are more receptive once they understand how complicated my process is. People really value making a personal connection with the artist, and Artlook gives me a chance to share my ideas even when I am not physically present." -P Barchilon
Make a direct connection-Patrons can follow easy prompts to artists audio messages.
"I was volunteering at the library the last weekend at open studios and I just wanted to let you know that I saw a lot of people using your phone service. I'll look forward to using it also when I have a show up." - Martine A.
88 88 ArtLook is the perfect way to connect artists and patrons
ArtLook is a service that allows art enthusiasts to hear live audio descriptions of artwork they are viewing at any location. A simple cell phone call to the number listed on a show tag provides a recorded message from the artist describing a show in general, or specifics about a certain piece. This service, much like an audio tour at a museum allows viewers to connect to, and gain a deeper understanding of the process, inspiration or story behind a work of art. For artists it provides a channel for direct communication to their patrons that would be otherwise difficult to achieve on a consistent basis.
Our service can be used by individual artists, galleries, organizations, and for special exhibitions and tours. Our membership options include everything from a general marketing and promotional message to a multi-stop exhibition announcements.
